New Staff at GRU Libraries

The University Libraries welcome new staff to the Greenblatt Library!

Steven D. Shelton, MLIS, joins the faculty as the Systems Librarian. Steven was introduced to the library profession when he joined the Tahlequah Public Library as a Library Technology Specialist over ten years ago. He fell in love with the profession and completed his MLIS at University of Oklahoma. Steven then moved on to academic librarianship serving as a Digital/Learning Special Projects Resident at Kansas State University and a Web Services Librarian at University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. Steven and his wife relocated to Aiken when his wife was transferred to the VA facility in Augusta.  Prior to joining GRU, he worked as a User Experience Specialist at Richland Public Library in Columbia, SC.

IMG952013040895213259Jillian Oliver, BA, joins the Library Administration Office as an Office Associate. She graduated from Georgia Regents University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and previously worked as an Administrative Assistant for Columbia County Board of Education’s Technology Department. Jillian has been accepted into the Clayton State University Masters of Archival Studies program and will begin classes in fall 2014.
