Staff Updates
Caroline Akers joins Reese Library as an Assistant for Access Services where she is responsible for Interlibrary Loan. She is currently attending Augusta University and will graduate (hopefully!) in Summer 2016 with a degree in Applied Information Systems and Technologies.
Jessica Huey joins Reese Library as a Library Assistant for Access Services. Jessica has previously worked as a Student Assistant in Reese’s Special Collections and Library Systems. She is currently attending Augusta University, majoring in Anthropology.
Alexis Joyner is a native of Evans, Georgia. She is the Library Clerk for Reese Library. She attends Augusta Technical College majoring in Respiratory Therapy and plans on attending Augusta University in the near future to finish her Bachelors.
David Kearns joins Reese Library as a Library Assistant for the Reference and Government Information department. He received his BA in History from Augusta College and attended the graduate programs at Georgia Southern University and the University of Mississippi.
Natalie Logue was appointed as the Access Services Librarian at Greenblatt Library. Natalie previously worked at Greenblatt as a medical library associate while obtaining her MLIS from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. This semester she is teaching an undergraduate Inquiry 1000 course on Zombies, Culture, and the Living (Dead) Library.
Aspasia Luster joins Reese Library as a Library Assistant for Access Services. She is a Florida native (an endangered species!) who moved here six years ago. Aspasia received an AA in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo University (FL) in 2011 and is currently enrolled at Augusta University and working on her BA in Anthropology.
Katieanne Randolph joins Reese Library as a Library Assistant. Katie is originally from Pompano Beach, Florida, and received her BA in English from the University of North Florida. She also graduated with a minor in Creative Writing, which she fervently hopes will one day come in handy, and implores anyone interested in discussing to visit her desk.
Adrianne Stevenson joins Greenblatt Library as Library Assistant in the Access Services Department. Adrianne received her BS in Healthcare Management and Administration from Albany State University. She is currently working towards another BS in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of South Carolina at Aiken.
Karin Williams joins Reese Library as the Catalog/Search Associate. She is from Indianapolis, IN, and previously worked as a paralegal and law library assistant. She will complete her MLIS from Indiana University, Indianapolis, this coming May. She enjoys frolicking in the wilderness, traveling, and exciting true crime entertainment, such as books, podcasts, and films.
