This fall, the Second Floor Gallery in Reese Library will feature ASU alumna, Yadira Payne.
The exhibit titled “Innately She” is a grouping of several collections that combine artistic techniques from the 20th century with feminist ideals. Yadira hopes to spark topics of discussion regarding feminism, how woman is perceived in society, and how she perceives herself.
Yadira is no stranger to Reese Library. She formerly served as ASU’s government information librarian for several years and was featured in ASU Report’s Faculty Profile. At present, she is a librarian at Fort Gordon’s Woodworth Consolidated Library. This empty nester is working on her fourth book and many art projects.
