Registering for a research methods class next semester? Consider taking ILIT 1500 too!
The course is designed to introduce students to the processes involved in putting together resources for an upper level research paper.
The course should be taken in the same semester as any other course in any academic discipline which requires the completion of a research paper or project which requires a list of information sources on a chosen topic.
Students will learn how to find source materials relevant to their research topic, evaluate information sources of all kinds, and use the information in an effective manner. The final project will be an annotated bibliography of resources students can use to write a term paper!
