JagCard required to access Libraries after 10 p.m.

Starting on Monday, Aug. 11, the entrances to both of Augusta University’s libraries will require JagCard Badge access after 10 p.m.

A sign at the Greenblatt Library entrance reminds passers by that a Jagcard will be required for entry. WIL PETTY/ AU Libraries

Badge readers are placed at the entrances of both Libraries and will grant access to our late-night students, faculty and staff.

At the Greenblatt Library, readers will be located at the Laney Walker Blvd. entrance and the entrance facing the parking lot and the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. At Reese Library, the reader will be at the library entrance in the JSAC Breezeway.

Community members will still have access to the libraries before 10 p.m., but access will not be granted after that time.

Signage has been placed at both libraries, and the new changes have been promoted on the AU Libraries social media in the weeks leading up to the changes.
