Reese Library will host a lunch and learn event next week entitled Keep Calm and Carry Reese Along. The program will explore the library resources and services that better prepare students for international study. The event is part of the International Education Week celebration on campus.
Keep Calm and Carry Reese Along begins at noon on Tuesday, November 13, in Room 304 at the Reese Library. The event is open to all faculty, staff, and students.
LouAnn Blocker, serials and electronic resources librarian, will lead a discussion on how to find political, financial, statistical, and cultural information on countries. Information related to current ASU study abroad programs will be emphasized.
Keep Calm and Carry Reese Along will cover:
- Business Source Complete for country reports from various sources, including the Economist Intelligence Unit, Business Monitor International and the OECD.
- Asian Business and European Business for core national and regional statistics, business outlooks, and directory information on national governments, civil service and organizations
- Global Road Warrior, ARTstor, Films on Demand, and selected titles for historical and cultural information
- Government and NGO sources available on the web
