Reese Library continues to celebrate National Parks & Recreation month. The July observation hopes to promote the importance of parks and recreation in health and wellness, conservation and social equity, and to recognize the thousands of park and recreation employees that maintain our nation’s parks.
Reese Library’s Government Information Department houses a wealth of information related to the Department of the Interior’s National Park Service and a small collection of those materials are displayed in the first floor display-case. Other resources related to local and state agencies circulate throughout the collection and highlight the economic, health, social, and environmental benefits of parks throughout the country.
