The Augusta University Libraries participated in the CSRA American Heart Association Heart Walk on March 11th. Volunteer walkers from both Reese and Greenblatt came out to support the fight against heart disease and stroke. There was a large turnout from all over the CSRA and spirits were high with many walkers wearing team colors and carrying signs to remember friends and family that have been affected by these life-altering circulatory conditions. Most of the Libraries’ walkers did the one mile trail and received reminders from FAST stations along the way about signs of an oncoming stroke –

As a team, University Libraries surpassed their donation goal of $800. We hope to see everyone at the Heart Walk in 2018!
