The University Libraries have recently added several new databases to support cyber studies thanks to generous funding from the Cyber Institute. The new databases include IEEE Explore, Safari Books Online and Faulkner Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS).

IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Xplore digital library is a discovery and access resource for scientific and technical content in publications for electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics. Content coverage includes journals, conference proceedings, technical standards, eBooks, and education courses.  The subscription includes unlimited users and is licensed for both campuses.

provides access to more than 36,000 digital books and videos on topics ranging from programming to IT networking to project management to graphic design to business strategy. The content includes code snippets, certification preparation materials, practice exercises, training videos, and much more. Users can search thousands of books simultaneously online, saving time and quickly finding the information they need. The subscription includes 2 simultaneous users and is licensed for both campuses.

faulknerFaulkner Advisory for IT Studies (FAITS) offers a broad range of reports including Marketplace Reports, Technology Tutorial Reports, Implementation Guide Reports, Standards Reports, Product Profile Reports, Company Profile Reports, Comparison and Selection Guide Reports. FAITS also provides a comprehensive glossary of IT and related terms.  The subscription includes unlimited users and is licensed for the Summerville campus only.
