Constitution Day and Pre-Law Day is Monday, September 18th, and Reese Library is teaming up with the Department of Political Science, Career Services, CREW, and SGA to celebrate this annual event on the Summerville Campus in the JSAC.
Students interested in or planning on attending law school following graduation have an opportunity to meet and receive information from participating law schools, including Georgia State University College of Law, University of Georgia School of Law, Mercer University School of Law, Charleston School of Law, University of South Carolina School of Law, and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
In addition to the Pre-Law Day events, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., students can visit the JSAC Breezeway. The CSRA Chapter of the League of Women Voters will be on campus to assist in voter registrations and answer any questions you may have about the voting and election process. CREW, the Student Government Association, and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys will host Feedback Tables, pass out copies of the U.S. Constitution, and offer you the opportunity to join in the conversation. Reese Library will host a Photo Booth with a patriotic theme and some free giveaways.
