Have you heard of EndNote X8, curious about it, but haven’t yet tried it?
Do you use EndNote X8, but you are not sure quite how to make the most of the program?
The Libraries has EndNote X8 available for download and provides support on how to use it to the Augusta University community.
EndNote X8 was made available to Summerville Campus students, faculty, and staff last summer.
EndNote X8 continues to be available for Health Sciences students, faculty, and staff.
EndNote is a powerful reference management desktop program which drastically shortcuts your citation work for your research projects.
It automates most of the work involved in creating, organizing, and formatting your citations.
Best of all, EndNote can be used on the go. Create an EndNote Online account (formerly EndNote Web). Gather citations away from your desktop, share them with others, and sync them to your main EndNote Library when you are back home or in the office.
Build your reference library in various ways, most conveniently by exporting citations from library resources including the library catalog (GIL-Find), GALILEO, individual databases, or from Google Scholar.
Add PDFs or see if EndNote can find the full-text. Choose which citation style you want to display them in out of thousands, make minor edits if necessary, then insert them into Word or PowerPoint.
