EZproxy Access Will Require Duo Authentication on January 3 at 9AM

As part of Augusta University’s effort to secure applications that are accessible externally, EZproxy will require Duo two factor authentication effective Thursday, January 3 at 9am. EZproxy is the library application used to manage off-campus access to licensed library resources. Since Duo has already been enabled on a number of enterprise applications, users should already be familiar with the process.  When a user accesses a library resource from off-campus, he/she will see a new EZproxy login screen.

Clicking Sign In will link to the campus login page and after entering the JagNet ID and password, the user will be prompted on their mobile device to APPROVE the connection via Duo. Upon approval, the connection to the requested library resource will proceed. Alternately, if the user does not have a mobile device, he/she can opt to receive a phone call instead.

IMPORTANT: Please see the Augusta University Duo page for additional information on configuring your account if you haven’t done so already.  If you have any questions about Duo, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 706-721-4000.
