Soma Mukhopadhyay, PhD, will present Laughing Gas, Not a Laughing Matter: A History of Anesthesia on Thursday, November 14, 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Greenblatt Library’s Historical Collections and Archives room. Dr. Mukhopadhyay is a lecturer with the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Science and Mathematics and the Medical College of Georgia since 2013. She was awarded the Students’ Faculty Choice Award in 2015 and 2016 and the Favorite Faculty Award in 2017 as well as a fellowship in Augusta University’s Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in 2018.
