The Robert B. Greenblatt, MD Library is excited to serve as the home of the new Iris Air Photo Booth. The Iris Air allows you to create professional headshots on your own time. It has the ability to edit photos and suggest poses to get the high-quality headshots you want.
It only takes about 5 to 10 minutes from start to finish! After entering an email address for the final photos to be sent to, users experience a quick tutorial on using Iris: choose your timer (3 or 6 seconds), position yourself, and smile! Iris will suggest poses between photos for a better headshot. You can also retake a photo if it doesn’t come out perfectly and edit a photo of your choice to reduce blemishes or adjust brightness. Complete the process by saving your changes and the photos are sent to your email. From the email, you can create an Iris account which saves your headshots for up to a year. You can access the headshots from each photo session and do further editing later if you wish.
While the process is pretty simple, Library staff are on hand to answer any questions you might have about the Iris Air Photo Booth and help troubleshoot any problems.
This service is completely free to Augusta University students, staff, and faculty through a partnership between the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs, the Graduate Student Government Association, and the University Libraries.
