What a perfect time to register for ILIT 1500!
ILIT 1500 is designed to introduce you to the processes involved in putting together resources for an upper level research paper.
The course should be taken in the same semester as any other course in any academic discipline which requires the completion of a research paper or project which requires you to compile a list of information sources on a chosen topic. Learn how to find source materials relevant to your research topic, evaluate information sources of all kinds, and use the information in an effective manner. The final project will be an annotated bibliography of resources you can use to write a term paper that’s due at the end of the semester. You have to do the work anyway! Why not earn some credit hours for it and have a librarian there every step of the way?!
