Reese Library’s Second Floor Gallery is proud to present local artist Linda Lavigne’s show, “Linda’s Brushstrokes.”
This is a collection of boldly colored paintings with subject matter from the floral to the abstract. Linda Lavigne is a native of Thibodeaux, Louisiana but has lived in Evans, Georgia since 1993. After moving over a dozen times with her Army husband and raising three children, she decided it was time to pursue her artistic interests in new directions. For the past 15 years, Ms. Lavigne has served as a volunteer art teacher for Richmond County senior citizens. Ms. Lavigne writes that “living in the midst of the natural beauty of the South offers daily inspiration” for her work.
Reese Library invites you to come see “An Exhibition of Drawings” during regular library hours during the months of June and July.
